Gorgeous Aussie woman Melissa Craig nominated me for the Kreativ Blogger award. Thanks Melissa! Melissa writes erotica. Check out her delicious book Plentiful Package.
The Kreativ Blogger rules say I must: Thank my nominator, provide a link to her blog, list 7 things readers might find interesting about me, and nominate 7 others
7 things about me: 1.I spent a summer backpacking around Europe and got to see some amazing sights. Of all the places I visited, walking through the gates of Auschwitz and looking up at the sign “Arbeit Macht Frei” is what stays with me the most.
2.My first celebrity/character crush was Nicholas Lea, who played Krycek in The X-Files. He was quickly replaced by David Boreanaz 🙂 (Angel from Buffy)
3.I studied at NUI Galway and one of the students there the same year as me was Martin Sheen (He played the President in The West Wing). I saw him eating in the cafeteria every day and now I’m kicking myself I never approached him.
4.I have a picture with the half naked cowboy who walks along Times Square when I visited New York.
5.I have three sisters, one older, two younger and one adorable niece. She’ll be two in September.
6.I played Joseph in the Christmas play when I was 5 or 6 (It was an all girls school :)) and I played Little Boy Blue in another school play. Looking back, I’m blaming my mother for the horrible, short, haircut!
7.Greek Island hopping for two weeks in 2008 remains my favourite holiday.
I think people are tired of me tagging them at this stage, so I’m just going to pass the Kreativ Blogger Award on to five bloggers.

Thanks, Emma!! I feel so special. Lol. 🙂
That’s because you are special Kim 🙂 How you holding up without any new episodes of The Vampire Diaries? True Blood is the only thing keeping me going!
Haha! Well, I’m glad you think so. I totally forgot to congratulate you on your award, Emma. Congratulations! You deserve it. 🙂
I’m doing okay. I think. For now. Talk to me when we’re nearing August or so. I probably won’t make it till October. Yes! I can’t wait for TrueBlood. I’ve been trying to keep spoiler free, but it looks like this season is going to be really interesting.
Right, I won’t mention TVD for another couple of months so! You’ll have to do a few reviews on your blog of True Blood in June.
Congratulations Emma!
I saw the naked cowboy in New York too 😉 I didn’t get a picture though…. haha
Thanks Becky. He didn’t look too pleased when I asked him. He’s a grumpy little cowboy 🙂
HAHA! Really? Spoilsport! 🙂
Thanks so much, Emma! And HOW in the world did you manage to go to university with Martin Sheen? He must be old enough to be your grandpa! 🙂
You’re very welcome Kristy. He enrolled as an Arts student the same year I did my Post-Grad degree. It was great fun at lunch every day with everyone watching him!
I’d have loved to be in that cafeteria! The West Wing was one of my favorite series (I even bought a ‘coffee table’ book about it at one point so I could read about it between episodes. 🙂
A ‘coffee table’ book; that sounds great. I loved it too. It was a really good show.
It was an excellent show. And the book was great, too. Of course not quite so great after knocking a cup of coffee over on it. 🙂
Oh no, ha ha
Mmm… David Boreanaz. Even though the TV show Bones has gone downhill I still watch it just for him. Congrats on your award. 🙂
Thanks Carmel.
I never got into Bones. He’ll always be Angel to me.
OMG Major flashback….I totally remember u as Joseph!! I was a shepherd as usual! Congrats on award by the way! 🙂 well deserved! And yes, u should’ve approached Martin Sheen!!!! 😉
Ha ha, we got all the great roles. Pity there weren’t more women around for the birth of Christ. Do you remember wearing tea towels on our heads?? 🙂
I couldn’t. No one ever went up to him; he was treated as just another student, which is good I suppose.
Congratlations!
Cheers Michelle.
You deserve the award! Congrats!
Aww, thanks Lauralynn.
Congrats, Emma!
Thanks a mill
It was my pleasure babe. I am glad to find out a bit more about you. Keep smiling.
Cheers Melissa.
I read this over the weekend on my iPad and I was laughing at so many of your fun facts! Joseph in the school play? I want a picture or it didn’t happen. 😉 Congrats on the award! It’s so deserving. I love your blog, so keep being kreative, okay?
I don’t think we have a pic of the Christmas play but I know there are are some photos of me as Little Boy Blue floating around 🙂
Many thanks for the nomination, Emma! I did Greek island hopping back in 1996, it’s still my favorite vacation. So many memories! You’ll have to post the pic of you with the naked cowboy! That’s awesome!
You’re welcome Serena. What islands did you visit? I saw four and I thought they were all beautiful.
The cowboy pic was taken in the days before I had a digital camera but I guess I can scan it and upload!!
Sweet! I went to Naxos, Santorini and Mykonos, plus a day trip to Delos. I am such a freak for ancient cultures and history I spent most of my time climbing around ruins. Would really love to go back too. Some day!
I spent most of my time on the beaches! I’ll go back some day and do some exploring. I visited Santorini too and it was beautiful. We watched the sunset at Oia and it was surreal to be there.
I’m so honored to be nominated!
You did a great job on this post – a pix with that cowboy guy! And great traveling adventures cool. Enjoyed the post – and congrats on the award. Well deserved
Thanks again and you’re very welcome. Hope to see your post sometime soon 🙂
