Song of the Moment: Night Moves by Bob Seger

I woke last night to the sound of thunder
How far off I sat and wondered
Started humming a song from 1962
Ain’t it funny how the night moves

The strumming of the guitar,  Seger’s crooning voice and the feel of a warm summer’s night all combine to make this a carefree, nostalgiac and sexy song.   I remember hearing this played a few times on the OC some years ago and then more recently I was reading through one of Charlaine Harris’ Sookie Stackhouse books and Night Moves was playing on WDED 🙂

“Working on our night moves in the summertime”
