The short and sweet one week blog tour for The Awakening & Other Stories kicks off today. Meet lonely ghosts, an old witch, ordinary people thrust into extraordinary circumstances, and of course, one or two vampires.
Put on the kettle, close the curtains and curl up by the fire. Dive into 8 short tales, each with a slice of the paranormal.
Ghost Story – Who is the shadow in the window of the abandoned house, and what or who is he waiting for?
The Awakening – It’s time for Sabrina to wake up and face the light.
End of the Line – Cassie wants to die. When midnight rolls around, she stands on the tracks waiting for the train to come.
Milsa Loris – The once magnificent kingdom of Milsa Loris comes alive one night each winter. The King’s witch is brewing up a little magic, sure to make the soup all the tastier.
The Old Vampire – Hailey spent her life dreaming of a dark prince falling in love with her. He never showed up, until now.
The Knocking – Alison’s grandfather has one eye on the next life. After all, he’s heard a lot of rapping at his door lately.
The Boy on the Beach – Kate’s grandmother warns her about the boy with the green eyes. Will she pay heed?
Snowglobes– It’s busy at Calvin’s Cabins this Christmas. Eddie and Maggie are a young couple in trouble. Not to fear, Calvin is always ready to lend a hand.

YAY! It’s finally here. 🙂 I’ve also done a review, which I’ll add as a different post but at the same time. Glad I managed to fit it in!
Thanks, Sandra. There was no rush, but I appreciate it!
Nah, it was an absolute pleasure. Trust me! It was gooooood!!!
Well, cheers 🙂
Congrats on the tour Emma! Have fun and I wish you much success with it!
Thanks, L.J.
I need to get my reviews up for this. (I’m SO far behind on reviews!)
I think my favorite story is Snowglobes. 🙂
You read fast! Thanks for getting a copy. Snowglobes was the beta readers’ favourite too.
All of those blurbs sound beyond intriguing. I will commence stalking you at all the above links….now.
Thanks, D.C. Cyber stalking is a great pastime 🙂
Good luck, Emma! I’ll get around to putting a review up as well. And I still have yet to use the word ‘craic’ in a sentence. Hmmm, I better work on that.
Maybe you’ll fit it in over Christmas after a few drinks! Thanks for being a beta reader.
A Christmas Craic! Brilliant!!!! I need to print flyers, ‘Come to Chris’s Christmas Craic’. I love it, now I need to through a party. And you’re very welcome, thanks for giving me the opportunity to possibly help you with your lovely book.
Can I come?
Absolutely, especially if you wear a mermaid costume 🙂
How exciting! Another awesome book to your name. Congratulations, Emma!
Cheers, Debra.
Congrats, Emma! I like the moodiness of the cover, I think it reflects the stories well (although I’ve yet to read them!) *has so many books spilling out she wants to read* Why must there be more words than seconds in the world? Why?! Keep up the prolific work! 🙂
I love the cover, got lucky with it. I have so so many books on my Kindle. But I suppose it’s a good thing really to have so many stories to choose from. Yours and Tiffany White’s are on my list once I break for Christmas.
Thanks, Emma! Get to it when you can, no need to remind me 🙂 I love that Kindle is an infinite bookshelf. I wasn’t too keen on it at first since I was attached to paper, but my tablet definitely grew on me.
Wishing you a successful tour, Emma and lots of fun with it. The book sounds fab and is definitely on my list. I love spooky reads and a collection of so many in one place is doubly enticing!
Thanks, Mae. There are a couple of spooky ones here. Good luck with your books and I’m keeping an eye out for Wyn 😉
Congratulations Emma. I’m all ready for the 12th! Your book is great. My favorites are The Boy on the Beach(tricky!) and Snowglobes. Can’t wait to post tomorrow!
Thanks, Laura. Appreciate the well wishes and your participation in the book tour. I think Snowglobes is one my favourites too!
