7-7-7 Game

My friend, Debra Kristi (she of the rockin’ pink and blonde hair), tagged me in this fun little game going around the blogosphere.

How to play: Go to either page 7 or 77 of your manuscript. Count down seven lines and paste the next seven lines in a post. After that, name seven more authors to come out and play.

Here it goes from my untitled manuscript.

Patrick’s longish, light-brown hair was as rumpled at the grey t-shirt he wore. He grinned at Erin. “Hey. The more the merrier.”

“I should sleep with ear plugs,” a cranky voice said, Valerie.

Patrick put his arm around her and kissed her on the cheek. She was clad in designer pjs, no doubt, a pale pink shorts and vest top combo that revealed her nipples. Not that Valerie gave a damn who saw her almost naked, even a stranger. She liked to flaunt her generous C-cup and narrow waist.

I’m going to tag Margaret Alexander, Michelle Cornwell-Jordan, C.Michael Hubbard, Lauralynn Elliott, Shannon Moreau, Ella Medler and Tiffany A. White – sorry guys, I probably tag you in these things way too much. Feel very free to ignore the tag.

On this rainy Monday, I’m listening to The Bangles

Sounds like Patrick definitely has his hands full, LOL. It will be interesting to see what this one is all about. BTW, love Manic Monday. Good choice for today!

  2. Talk about capturing our attention! Great little snippet. Love the Bangles too. Brings back lots of memories 🙂

Nice one, Emma! I love being tagged 🙂 Btw, I keep wanting to tell you your new profile pic is epic 😀

  4. Aaa! I’ve been tagged, what’s going on here? Is there some kind of ‘base’ where I’m safe? Are there no tag backs? I forgot the rules to tag, alas poor me, or wait! Yeah me I’m it! Now I have the power! Mwahhaaaaaaaa. Thanks for the tag 🙂
Nice little snippit, oh the pictures in my mind after reading that, but I’ll keep those to myself.
And The Bangles, I love the bangles, had the biggest crush on the lead singer when I was in school (actually I think I still might).
    Happy week, Emma

Hey!!!! I read this in the early a.m. and loved it! Sorry it’s taken me so long to get over here. The little one’s asthma is NASTY right now. She just hacked up a lung. *Coughs* DAMN. Great land on the 777. You lucked out on this one. Very nice.

  6. Interesting, Emma… I like 🙂 Gosh, I miss this band!! Hubbie, still, every time he hears Walk Like An Egyptian – gets up and does just that – sorta. LOL Love Manic Monday, too. Thanks for sharing. We always need something awesome on a Monday.

    • Even though I only commented today! :p

I have a best of the 80s tape I got as a kid from collecting tokens from a cereal box with The Bangles on it. I love their stuff. Eternal Flame is one of my favourite songs. 80s music rocks, and you HAVE to get up and walk like an Egyptian when that song comes on! They’re still touring, I think anyway.
Monday requires good music to get through 🙂

The Bangles! Now I’m humming away:) Can’t wait to meet Patrick and Valerie. Need more. Can tell already, I’ll like Val.

  8. Now I have Manic Monday stuck in my head! 🙂 As for the excerpt….sounds like some serious flirty, flirty going on! 🙂
